Beef Stir-fry With Barbecue Sauce


1 .4tbsp tomato ketchup
2. 2tbsp balsamic vinegar
3. 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4. 1tbsp French mustard
5. 1tbsp clear honey
6. 500g new potatoes, to serve
7. 2tbsp sunflower oil
8. 450g rump steak, trimmed, cut into bitesize pieces
9. 150g carrots, cut into batons
10. 200g pack Asda Baby Corn and Sugar Snaps, halved
11. 1 red pepper, deseeded and cut into strips
12. 4 spring onions, trimmed and sliced


1. In a bowl, mix together the tomato ketchup, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, honey and 4tbsp water. Set aside. Boil the potatoes until tender.
2. Heat 1tbsp of the oil in a wok and fry the steak until it just browns on each side. Transfer the steak and its cooking juices into a bowl.
3. Add the rest of the oil to the wok, then add the carrots, baby corn, sugar snaps, red pepper and spring onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
4. Return the steak to the wok. Add the sauce and heat through, stirring. Simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Stir in the new potatoes,to serve.
