Mushy Peas


1. 300g frozen garden peas (Or 2 tins of marrow fat peas)
2. 60ml double cream
3. 1 tbsp butter
4. 1/2 tsp salt
5. A few generous twists of freshly-ground black pepper
6. Smoked ham
7. And pickled onion juice for taste.
Method: Bring a shallow pan of lightly-salted water to a boil. Add the peas and boil for about 3 minutes, or until just tender. Drain the peas and transfer to a blender or food processor. Add the butter, cream, Smoked ham, salt and pepper and pur´┐Że until blended (don't over blend you still want some bits of peas in this to give texture). Adjust the seasonings and serve immediately.

Quick and fast mushy peas 2 tins marrow fat pease cooked till warm mash add pickled onion juice your done.
